Sunday afternoon the air blower for the on sight septic system gave up the ghost. Had to order a new one at the tune of 265.00. At least the shipping was free. Since Monday we have pumped less than 90 gallons of water from the well, its not recovering any faster than that. No rain in San Angelo means no water in the well especially since the nut jobs that have all moved in out here seem to think that we have all the water in the world and they continue to fill ponds and pools and water their grass like there is no end to it........ so today the wells guys came out and added another ten feet of pipe to the line and dropped it another ten feet after pulling the entire system, 245 feet of pipe out of the ground, adding another piece of pipe then replacing the whole thing,,, and non of it is cheap....... have no idea what that cost but they assured me that the will send the bill. Nice folks tho. Now, I want some one to tell me again how lucky I am to live here........

There's no shortage of water in my part of Texas right now...But sorry about the well. Years ago, I hadto redrill a bad well at my old place. pretty costly endeavor to say the least.

And to top it all off, the sub pump in the septic system is out...... I've come to the conclusion that a ranch is just like a pool. A whole in the ground you throw money into. I'm done. Next couple years will be nothing but getting this place marketable so I can sell it and be done with it. Get a nice town house on the coast of somewhere beautiful.
